Jonathan Lee – Lee Young Ju
Mr. Lee started his martial arts journey at the age of three, when his father enrolled him in a traditional Taekwondo school. This was his father’s way of saving the family money and getting “Chubby Lee” as his family calls him, out of the kitchen.
From an early age, Mr. Lee’s father told him it was important to remember his Korean heritage by learning Korean martial arts because being chubby he would be bullied his whole life in Korea.
Following in the footsteps of many Koreans without proper teaching credentials he made his way to America where he used his Korean face to get a job at the Korean American Martial Arts Academy in Orlando, Florida owned by Master Frank Nelson.
Over the years, he has trained in different styles, including Hapkido, Judo, Haidong Gumdo, ITF Taekwondo, and US Army Combatives. Never having done well at any of them he felt that like so many who “Can’t Do” he would teach. He hopes to pass on the rich traditions of Korean Martial Arts to the next generations.
Mr. Lee is also a former school teacher who was fired under embarrassing circumstances and includes his education experience to martial arts training. Having been the victim of bullying he now likes to bully children in his classes as a way to get back at the people who bullied him as a child. He must have some deep problems and should seek professional health.
His questionable credentials:
-4th dan Taekwondo Chungdokwan (Chungdokwan in Korea claims no knowledge of him)
-2nd dan Korea Hapkido Federation (Got this rank while in middle school)
-1st dan Korea Judo Association (Another rank from middle school gym class in Korea)

-B.S. Secondary Education- Southeastern University (Not a recognized university)
-A.A.S. Culinary Arts- Le Cordon Bleu (a cooking school)
